This winter was a crazy ride, but we ended up with a great season. Snow fell in November and December and the groomers at Teacup and the Meadows Nordic center did an amazing job of farming and moving the snow for us to Nordic ski. Huge thanks to Harold Fischer at Teacup for his outstanding effort. Meadows Nordic got a start on the season grooming Sahalie Falls before Christmas. During the holiday season we were able to ski at the higher elevations on the east side of the mountain. In January and February we had long waits between storms but each time we started feeling desperate the universe graced us with new snowfall.
The trails are still covered as we write this on Easter Day 2018. Teacup will be groomed this coming up first week of April. Many thanks to all the enthusiastic Otto’s skiers.
